Ali Arain

I'm a software engineer at CommandCode.ai. Most of what I do is build AI products end to end, design, code, and ship, mostly solo. I care more about what to build and who it's for than the stack it runs on.

I'm self-taught. I never studied computer science, I just started building things and never stopped. Broke them, fixed them, shipped them, did it again. That's still the whole process.

In 2022 I started raptrX, bootstrapped and profitable, now a team of five. We ship in public and build things people actually use, 15,000+ users across our products. The name comes from the Raptor engine on SpaceX's Starship. That felt right.
